He talked his way out of college, and since it was the only discernible talent obtained in 6 years he decided to make a career out of it. 30 years later, he finds himself on a station that he would actually listen to. He’s learned to enjoy mornings by waking up in the middle of the night, strong coffee and the ability to get things off his chest. A loving wife, grown children and a new grandson keeps him centered while boating, golf and travel keep him out of trouble the rest of the time. Always looking to comment on life’s foibles, he was inspired by a teacher that once told him “Richard…shut up. You’re never going to make a living being a smart-alack!” Oh, yeah, it’s worked out pretty good so far.
